this is a nice hardcover edition here of a lot of archival reviews, stories and other who history from the people that where there way back in the day, this book goes into the whos endless touring in the 60s, the recording process of the records & how they handled things back in those days, if you have read many official and unofficial books about the who there is probably not to much here you dont already know but i find through the years there is always something new to find out!!!!, i always knew that the who recorded there 1971 winterland gig on the west coast BUT i did not know in 1968 3 years before that the who held there 1968 winterland show ( wich was recorded for a live album) against the bar with there live recording of the april 1968 fillmore east shows they recorded in new york wich god i have over 40 years worth of bootlegs of until IT WAS OFFICIALLY RELEASED 3 years ago back in 2018, just little small stuff like that is always worth reading a new who book to find out!!!, anyway much more to read in this if you buy it and love the who as much as i do..... i can say with the 2021 release of the amazing SELL OUT box set i can only hope more great live who stuff & unreleased stuff like that will follow in the future....... as a who collector since the late 70s now i have long ago learned I WILL NEVER HAVE NEAR EVERYTHING!! great read once again...
